I believe that we live more than one life. I also believe that this life right now is incredibly precious
... each moment ... right now. I believe in protecting and caring for vulnerable creatures both human and
non human. As a Seattle dog walker and vacation care provider I really see my dogs as being vulnerable,
just like human children . . . they only happen to have fur! The dogs are precious, vulnerable and
dependent on me for their needs and protection.It makes me so happy every day to wake up and go out into the world to make a living doing something that I truly love knowing that I'm making a difference in the lives of my clients - that you can go to work and concentrate on your job knowing that your animal companions are completely taken care of for their walking or vacation care needs. Even in mid March when it's pouring our Seattle rain and its bitter cold, I'm still deeply content and satisfied with being a dog walker. I just can't imagine doing anything else except to continue to expand my pet business, providing more and more services for animals and their human companions.
I want to make a difference in the world. I am driven to make a difference in the world by taking excellent
care of myself, first ... then fighting for what I believe in. To take the time to touch the hearts of those
I meet every day ... giving love, spreading joy but, most of all, speaking the truth no matter what ... no
matter the consequences ... the hard core, deepest truth that lives in my soul!More and more, I want to experience the beauty of this incredible planet. Breathe it in, stand still long enough to really see the beauty I am living in ... sunlight coming through a tree's leaves while listening to the rhythmic song of my cat Maisha's purr.
Honor the past, live and in the present ... create the future! Not one of these can truly happen without the other!
