A misty day of doggie fun

posted on: October 26, 2015

I own a dog walking company because I love dogs.  I am a dog walker because I care deeply about my clients both my human clients and their dogs.  I do this work so that I can make a difference in my clients’ lives.  I keep my business small because I feel that there is such a huge responsibility that comes with caring for someone’s pet companion that I do not want to have a bunch of employees with that responsibility.  I always have backup available if an emergency comes up where I am not available and on occasion, I do hire a wonderful person to provide leash walks.  But, other than that, it’s me doing the work.  Because I am the one providing the services, I KNOW for sure, that the service is excellent.   I make a decent living doing what I love while making a real positive difference for my clients.  And, I swear, I have just as much fun as the doggies.  On another note,   good manners are very important with Waggin Tails Seattle off leash outings.  On our outings, each pup is supported in playing nicely with their pals and responding to basic doggie manners.   All of the techniques that I use are positive reinforcement.  You will never see me using harsh punishment with my doggie clients.   My clients consistently report back that their pup’s behavior improves greatly while being with Waggin Tails off leash groups.  That is my greatest reward as their dog walker!
